IN GST Calculator

Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

IN GST Calculator works entirely on your device. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and the app doesn't send your data to the developer or anyone else.

1. What you enter

The app keeps what you type so it can do its job: amounts, GST rates, notes and your calculation history; bills, their items and payments; saved customers (names, phone numbers, addresses and GSTINs) and products; and your business details (name, GSTIN, state, address, phone, email, UPI ID, bank details, logo and signature).

This information is used only to show calculations and to create bills and PDFs on your device.

2. Where it's stored

Everything is stored inside the app on your iPhone or iPad. If your device backs up to iCloud or to a computer, the app's data is included in that backup under Apple's terms. The developer cannot see, access or recover your data.

3. When it leaves your device

Only when you choose to share it. Copying a breakdown, sharing a calculation, exporting history or reports, saving a backup file, sending a WhatsApp reminder or sharing an invoice PDF uses the standard iOS share sheet or opens the app you pick, and that app handles the data under its own policy.

Invoice PDFs contain your business details (including bank details, logo and signature if you add them), the customer details on that bill, and, for unpaid invoices with a UPI ID set, a QR code holding your UPI ID, business name, the amount due and the bill number.

4. No internet needed

The app works offline. It only opens a web page, WhatsApp or your email app when you tap a link such as Support, Report a bug or Send Reminder.

5. Face ID, Siri and backups

If you turn on the app lock, Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode is checked by iOS; the app never sees your face or fingerprint data. Siri and Shortcuts requests are handled on your device by the app. Backup files contain all of your app data, so keep them somewhere safe.

6. Your customers' details

If you record details about your customers, you decide what to keep and are responsible for handling it lawfully, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies. Keep only what you need for your invoices.

7. Deleting your data

Clear your history in Settings → Data, delete bills, customers and products by swiping, and edit or clear your business details at any time. Deleting the app removes all of its data from the device.

8. Children

The app is meant for people running a business or checking prices. It doesn't knowingly collect any information from children, or from anyone.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will appear in the app and on this page with a new date.
