IN GST Calculator

Terms of Use

Last updated 4 November 2026

These terms apply when you use IN GST Calculator. By using the app you agree to them.

1. What the app does

The app helps you calculate GST, keep a history of calculations, and prepare invoices and quotations as PDFs. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with the Government of India, GSTN or the GST portal.

2. Check before you rely on it

You are responsible for checking every figure, rate, HSN/SAC code, place of supply and invoice detail before using it for business, tax or legal purposes, and for making sure your invoices meet the GST rules that apply to you.

GST rates and rules change from time to time. The rates offered in the app may not reflect the latest notifications; you can always enter the correct rate yourself.

3. GSTIN check

The app checks that a GSTIN has the right format, state code and check digit. It does not confirm that the GSTIN is registered or active. Verify it on gst.gov.in when it matters.

4. Payments

The UPI QR code on an invoice is a convenience for your customer. The app does not process or confirm payments. Check your bank or UPI app to confirm you've been paid before marking an invoice as paid.

5. Not professional advice

Nothing in the app is financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. Talk to a qualified professional for advice about your situation.

6. Your data

Your data stays on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for backing it up. The developer is not responsible for data lost through device failure, deleting the app, or backup settings.

7. Fair use

Use the app lawfully. Don't use it to create false, misleading or fraudulent invoices or records.

8. Ownership

The app, its design and its code belong to the developer. The content you create in it, such as your bills and notes, belongs to you.

9. No warranty and limits of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the app or being unable to use it, including errors in calculations or documents.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The new version will appear in the app and on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
